Tankie Tlhologelo Mokgalaka known as “Tan-kie Dj” is a talented D j/ Producer and a lover of house music. He was born in Limpopo Phalaborwa (Selwane) and a Producer/ Dj who goal is to be the best that he can be.
Tan-kie Dj started his music collection from a very young age, his love for House music started when he was 15 years of age and was introduced to FL Studio and Virtual Dj. Tan-kie Dj went on to become a well respected hometown talent.
Tan-kie Dj’s first big moment was when he became a resident Dj at a local tavern, “Maseale” in 2010 when he was named as one of the best local Dj’s in Phalaborwa, He was the main attraction of Maseale and played a mixture of House, Bolobedu Music, and Kwaito.
Tan-kie Dj started producing in 2013 and continues to create amazing Deep House and Afro house, melodies and harmonies.
Tan-kie Dj has produced his own records, and has played at many events in Limpopo, alongside the great and most respected producers locally and internationally such as PS King, DeepMeeSoul, Deep Meditator, Tokyo Da Deejay, Leshego, Skhondo Bujeja, Dj Mol, Mr.Eclectic, Dj Mpumza, Cocktail Dj, Young_Stuna and many more.
He’s musical influences comes from the like of Da Capo. Kora(CA), king touch SA, YokoO, Black Coffee, Hraach, Powel, Hyenah, jazzuelle, Lee burridge, Moosefly and Other great producers around the planet.
